PORTRAIT SO IT DOESN'T ERASE
Through art, the story is also told in which traces
are stories, marble is memory, gold are secrets,
terracotta are thoughts, iron crossroads, and hands
they belong to those who stop and observe.
There have been trans and gender-nonconforming people since
always, transcending gender is not something that has
started in the 80s however if we look at the art, which
stories tell?
It does not tell the stories of these bodies.
When you stop to observe, you need to know what you see,
if the observer does not know what a trans person is or
non-binary how do you know you've observed it? In what way
does it bring you into your reality? How true is it that the
insert into your art?
BODY
is a project that aims to insert trans bodies and not
binaries in the art scene as models of a
reality that, although not shared by all, is real.
É necessário começar a contar as histórias destas corpas,
Our long-term goal is to take Corpaças to places
where art is still only cisgender, classical, and binary.
We would like to be able to work with art students in
public and private institutions.
Immediately this project is working on the awareness of
artists who come together to draw these bodies at the same
time when it offers job opportunities to people
trans and/or non-binary/es.
queer e sao Super inclusivos.
